I really like it when people don’t depend on the government to grant them the right to exercise their liberty. I love it when people exercising their liberty find a way around government intrusion of it. Love this story…. H/T sjmom
Imagine you’re a 13 year old Christian, or the parent thereof, and you receive this letter from your child’s school superintendent regarding your child’s graduation speech all because it contains the personal faith of God:
“As a public school, it is our duty to educate students, regardless of how different they or their beliefs may be… While students are welcome to pray or pursue their faith without disrupting school or infringing upon the rights of others, the United States Constitution prohibits the school district from incorporating such activities as part of school-sponsored events, and when the context causes a captive audience to listen or compels other students to participate,”
This is how 13 year old Seth Clark and his neighbors worked around the school’s agenda…
A friend of Seth’s family owned a house across the street from the school, and when it came time for him to deliver his graduation speech which included his faith in God, the owners invited anyone who wanted to come over so he could give his speech as he had written and desired to give. It was attended by about 60 people.
I love it. Read the rest here.
Have a blessed Friday all- and hope you’re joining me in wearing RED to remember everyone deployed. God bless and protect our troops wherever they are.
