Part 3 chronicles a 40 year battle with government agencies by the Hage family; from illegal cattle theft and sale by officials from the federal government to agents illegally fencing off watering facilities for the family’s cattle.
It is small wonder that many in the western US view the federal government as its enemy. From ranchers and farmers to mining interests, they all are under attack with harassing actions designed to drive people off the land. Many times these entities are in no way able to defend themselves against the irrational and often illegal lawsuits levied against them.
One prosecutor on learning that his attack had failed quipped that the federal government had numerous attorneys and lots of tax payer money in order to continue despite the occasional failure. This mindset runs through many of the agencies tasked with operating public lands, they have become the epitome of this “We are the Government”, therefore they believe they have the right to dictate where and when public lands can be utilized by the citizens of the United States.
Many of the tenants of Agenda 21 are at the fore front of this massive land grab. “Sustainable Development” is one of these dictates; and control of all water is a necessity if they are to gain control over all public lands.
This drive to force hard working people off public land reflects one of the most egregious actions taken by what was once a government “Of, By and For the People.” The outright murder of Robert LaVoy Finnicum is but one of the many deplorable actions initiated by out of control agents that continue to plague the people who would make a living on these public lands.
What has this to do with the wild Mustangs and Burros? They are federally protected, right? Well yes, there is legislation to that effect… but there are groups that claim the horses and burros are an introduced species to the America’s and demand their removal. This drive to remove the horses and burros is also included in Agenda 21’s, “Sustainable Development”.
Just another slice of our sovereignty that is at risk… are we witnessing a sunset??
