The Star Spangled Banner

This happened yesterday……

Madison Rising’s post,  44,460 shares, so I thought I would too.

On this day 203 years ago, Francis Scott Key wrote our beloved national anthem. Today we are saddened to hear the news that his monument was destroyed overnight by senseless vandals. These cultural marxists will keep trying to erase the institutions, celebrations, history and patriotism that unite ALL of us. Madison Rising won’t allow it. Share this if you won’t either.

Vandals can destroy a statue honoring the man who wrote our National Anthem but they will never destroy the spirit in which it was written, in our hearts.

“Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land, praise the Power that hath made, and preserved a nation.

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, and this be our motto: “In God is our trust”

And the star-spangled banner, in triumph shall wave, O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!”
