Baruch ha ba be shem Adonai!

Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!

There are a few things I find ironic when it comes to Bible prophecies yet to be fulfilled and the secular unbelieving world we live in. One is that those who mock people who believe in the prophecies are so often instrumental about moving the world right along towards fulfilling them.  The other is that the Bible tells us some day Jews will be brought back to the land of Israel- and while so many people now condemn Israel for everything from being a so called apartheid state to occupying ‘palestinian’ lands, these same are instrumental by their treatment of Jews which is driving Jews back to Israel.

The Bible tells us that some day Jews who have not yet recognized and received Yeshua as their Messiah,  “ shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.” Zechariah 12:10

I’ve been keeping up somewhat with people around the world coming to Christ and it’s no different for many Jews who are finally realizing that the New Testament is a Jewish book every bit as much as the Old, and many are accepting Jesus as their Messiah, Lord and Savior.  For anyone who knows Jewish people and traditions, it’s an amazing and wonderful thing when “the light clicks on” for those who realize Jesus is Messiah and that He along with the first Christians were every bit as much as Jews as they are.

Anyway, back to the prophecies which tell us that the Lord will bring His people back to the land of Israel- This is an interesting article, which describes how it’s happening before our eyes, and that once again shows how the Bible is alive in our times.

“For I will bring them back to their own land that I gave to their fathers. Behold, I am sending for many fishers, declares the Lord, and they shall catch them. And afterwards I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.”” (Jeremiah 16:15-16)
