A Time of Harvest

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.  Luke 10:2

When I lived at the swamp, there was a local church with a radio station. Just a little bitty station, but they featured the greats like Pastor Adrian Rogers, J. Vernon McGee and Ravi Zacharius.  On weekends they had old radio style shows from Pacific Garden Mission from Chicago. They also had daily broadcasts from Focus on the Family, the ACLJ and Greg Laurie.  It was listening daily to so many of these, I really learned so much- not just from sermons and good programs, but also about some of the testimonies of the people featured. It was listening to the station that I first heard about Greg Laurie’s Harvest Crusade and had a chance to listen sometimes when they broadcast it.

Well, last week, thanks to HighontheTide, we got to watch the 29th Harvest Crusade from Anaheim California. Spanning Friday thu Sunday nights, it was amazing, although I had to miss much of Saturday’s.  I know most folks are out for a couple of weeks, but just in case anyone is around who missed these, I wanted to re post the broadcasts today for anyone interested in watching (or watching again).

The Crusade was a great success though, as the total attendance at Anaheim stadium for the three days was 100,000.  Harvest Webcast Views was 74,300 and Facebook Live Views was over 260,000.  And… professions of faith, 9,260- which means angels rejoiced over 9000 times last weekend.

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. Luke 15:10

I wish we could play the music portions, because Phil Wickham, Lincoln Brewster, Jordan Feliz, Mercy Me and Chris Tomlin were phenomenal- but due to contract limitations, the music isn’t included in these. But you guys can post your favorites from these artists in comments anyway 🙂

I also hoped to embed these, but all I can do is share the link- but you’ll find Friday’s in the feature spot, Saturday & Sunday’s are below. Happy Watching…

And, happy Saturday all. I hope everyone has a blessed and safe day.
