RED Friday

This has been another heart breaking week for our military as two more US Soldiers died this past week in Afghanistan.  Both were paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne.

Pfc. Brandon Keischer from Ohio was 20 years old.  Spc. Michael Nance of Chicago was 24. They were killed by small arms fire in Kandahar, Afghanistan.  Nance joined the Army in January 2017 and Kreischer joined in June 2018.

This following the death of West Virginia native and a member of the WV National Guard, Sgt. William Friese on July 18.  He was killed in Kuwait from a non-combat related incident while serving in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.  He is being laid to rest today.

A Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet Jet went down Wednesday during low-level flying in what was described as routine training in Death Valley, and last night it was confirmed that the pilot died in the crash.

God give comfort and peace beyond all understanding to the families, friends and team mates for all our fallen. Bless our Troops and their families, and please Lord keep them safe.

Please keep on wearing RED until they ALL come Home.

Have a safe and blessed day all.

It’s an open thread.
