Spotlight

This week’s spotlight is going to shine on more new stuff from some of our previously featured artists.  Seems like there’s never a shortage of new songs coming out and we’d be missing out if we didn’t feature some of them here.

Let’s kick things off with Rend Collective. Man, these guys have been busy.  This song deserves some cranking…

This next one has been out on the radio for a couple of weeks and I really like it. But then again I love for King and Country. These guys are creative, and I love some of their lyrics as they speak to many people for different struggles…

Step into a new day
We can rise up from the dust and walk away
We can dance upon our heartache, yeah
So light a match, leave the past, burn the ships
And step into a new day
We can rise up from the dust and walk away
We can dance upon our heartache, yeah
So light a match, leave the past, burn the ships
And don’t you look back

This is the live version, and the sound isn’t the greatest, but the meaning behind the song is great…

We haven’t heard from Micah Tyler in a while, but this is a new one from a few days ago…

This new one by Ryan Stevenson makes me cry, but wow what an encouraging, simple, real message.  Usually I post the story behind the songs first, then the songs, but in this case, I want folks to hear the song first because I also want the song to stand alone for a minute even though both are so well worth listening to…

OK hopefully we have room for one more.  You know this guy’s been busy, especially since his movie is coming out next spring. We have a new album out by Jeremy Camp called, The Story’s Not Over. I like this song, but they’re all good…

I guess that’s a wrap from this end- I hope you’ll dig around you tube and find new or old songs you’d like to share.

Happy, Blessed Sunday all!
