Happy Saturday y’all!
I don’t have much for today, but last week shared a conversation between JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis. The story of their friendship, and of Tolkien’s influence in his friend’s search for truth is a cool story, and so much of their faith which reflects in their stories are a part of the reason why they are two of the most beloved authors of all time.
(Just in case you missed it, it’s so worth watching and will leave you with a smile to last the day…)
I did find a couple of shorts about CS Lewis’s faith journey. What I couldn’t help notice not only in these but in reading his work and about him is how God pursued him. The people he put in his life, the things that interested him most, which contradicted his atheistic beliefs… and the creative mind that he had among so many other ways.
Today is an open porch, if you’re interested you might like these…
If not, that’s ok too. Post whatever you feel like sharing, or just come hang out and see who’s around. Me, I have another weekend in a string of working weekends to attend to, but I’ll be around later.
Whatever y’all have going on today, stop in and just say howdy. I hope everyone has a blessed day!!
