Saturday on the Porch

Man it’s hard to believe this is the last Saturday before Christmas already.  This year has flown even faster than last year which I thought was crazy fast.  As of this writing, I’m not even ready… still have a few more things to get for American boy, and hopefully I’ll have some time coming within the next couple of days to get a little bit of baking done. At least we have a tree up.

I know folks are probably busy and spending today running around, or getting pre Christmas chores done, so we will just have a few things hopefully to draw folks here throughout the day when you feel like taking a break and relaxing…

I have to admit, traditions are hard to change.  For a long time I’ve always loved the Dicken’s classic, A Christmas Carol. But the movie I always watched was the version with Alistair Sim as Scrooge. As I was looking for it to post today, I saw the 1984 remake starring George C. Scott.  I’ve heard a lot about it, and how it’s even more close to Charles Dickens’ story, so I thought I’d give it a watch.  Man it’s good lol.

So, for today for anyone who’s interested,

I love the new version of Scrooge- and I don’t mean the movie lol. Although Scott really does well as a merry old boy when he wakes up Christmas morning.  Looks like even Scrooge can make room…

Well. that’s it from me. I hope whatever y’all are up to today, you have a blessed and beauty day!
